Paula and Daniel went over to Paula's parents tonight, celebrating Paula's mother Gertrud's birthday. It is actually tomorrow, but many of the humans had other plans, including Gertrud.
It is said that in some countries, it is considered to bring bad luck if you celebrate before the actual day. This is not the case in Sweden and I do not see the point in thinking like this. I believe the main thing is that you celebrate, not exactly the day when you celebrate. Thus, I will also take this day for the birthday greetings.
