Speed of Light

An experiment in Switzerland and Italy has showed results that indicates that neutrinos has travelled faster than the speed of light. According to current scientific theories, this would not be possible. The scientists behind the experiment are baffled and interested to know whether others can make the same findings with an equal experiment. If the results turn out to be true, our world view might have to change. What the implications of this is, I do not know. I believe it is too early to tell. In the everyday life, these results surely means nothing. Perhaps they will matter for our great great grandchildren. Until we know more, I just treat this as an interesting but rather pointless piece of news.
