If you are lucky beyond what seems probable, your luck will eventually run out. Nobody had guessed that Turkey would get to the semi finals in Euro 2008, but they turned three games around in the end and got there. Against Germany tonight, they got a tie with just minutes left to play, but then Germany scored again and won by 3-2. This was logical, I believe Turkey had the weakest team of those who were left. We will have to see if Germany meets Spain or Russia in the final.
Luck is bound to run out sometime, but so is unluck. This is something to consider for everyone who feels unlucky.
