Police Dog Cut

A police dog in Västerås, Försvarsmaktens Hjalle (Försvarsmakten is the official kennel name of dogs bred by the Royal Swedish Armed Forces) was hunting suspected criminals, but one of them turned on him, cutting him with a knife. Hjalle was badly wounded, but survived. The criminals were caught.

I hope these criminals will be prosecuted and convicted, especially for turning on a police dog. Animal abuse is a serious felony in my mind. The punishment should be hard. I hope it will be.
