Mowed Lawn

Daniel mowed our lawn today. I wish he would have time to make it more often. The grass grows very quickly at this time of the year, especially in our dog yard. The soil must be very rich there. Nevertheless, when the grass is shorter, there is less risk of getting ticks. Ticks are these unnecessary, bloodsucking creatures that are liked by nobody but themselves. They climb straws of grass and wait there until they can jump onto innocent animals like us dogs. We do have chemicals that scare ticks off, but some of them are not so easily scared. I wish they were.
