The World's Tallest Lift Tower
It sometimes seems like humans can set the most different kind of record, the tallest, smallest, oldest, or first of this or that. In Japan, Mitsubishi has built what is not the tallest building in the world, but what they call "tallest lift tower". It is 173 m high and built to test lifts for the next generation of very high buildings. For my part, I am satisfied with our single floor building, which is very easy to get out of when you feel like it. On the other hand, a penthouse with a private garden on top of a skyscraper would perhaps be something.
