The Limits of Smilies

There are smilies all around on social media platforms. You can put faces with a lot of different facial expressions everywhere, signaling your own emotions. This is, if you are a human. I cannot use them. I would like to have smilies with body expressions of dogs. Now there is just about one smiley of a dog, not expressing any feeling. I will have to make due with just words for a while longer. It is not that I would want to replace any words with smileys. As Daniel says, writers do not do this.
