Snow has fallen in Santiago de Chile, capital of Chile, for the first time in two decades. A lot of people have lost electric power.
Santiago is situated on the southern hemisphere, so this is the right time of the year for winter and snowfall. Still, the city lies way up north and not up in the Andes mountains, so snow is rare.
I hope the cold weather and power shortages does not cause dogs much harm.
