King of the Animals

It is sometimes said that the lion is the king of the animals. We do not have any lions in Sweden, though. Somewhere, I heard that the king of the animals in Sweden is the moose, instead of the lion that cannot be found here. I believe this is wrong. The moose is not on the top of the food chain, thus, it cannot be the king. I would say the wolf is the king of the animals in Sweden. Too bad, then, that there are so many humans who do not want wolves here.
