The Oldest Participant
The oldest competitor in the Olympic Games is from Japan, the 71 year old Hiroshi Hoketsu who participates in dressage. What makes it even more special is that he participated in his first Olympic Games 48 years ago, in Tokyo in 1964. Japanese humans are tough people, just like dogs of Japanese breeds are.
