Our Chihuahua friends Piffy, Viola, and Pepe were happy that Sergio Perez won the Azerbaijan Formula 1 Grand Prix in Baku. He races for Red Bull, and he is from Mexico, the home country of the Chuhuahua breed. I am happy for the Chihuahuas. There are no Japanese or Swedish drivers anywhere near the Championship this year. Peanut roots for the British drivers George Russell and Lewis Hamilton, but I can join the Chihuahuas and root for Sergio Perez.

No Work in the Garden
Daniel said he would go out and work in the garden this afternoon. Once he was about to get out, rain started to fall. He stayed indoors. I would have done the same, had I had plans to go out.
Thus, no work was done in the garden. Work was done indoors instead. This was good. When work is done indoors, we have company, which is something I like.

Frost
It is the end of April, but we had frost on the ground this morning. The temperature was below the freezing point when we took our morning walk.
The temperatures this spring have been up and down and up and down. It is interesting, but no fun.
I hope that the low temperatures kill ticks.

Probably a Failed Attempt, but Positive View
The Lunar probe landing that I wrote about yesterday probably failed the landing attempt.
I am sorry to read this, but the news are not so bad as it might seem at a first glance. The company CEO said they had learned a lot, even though the landing may have failed. Thus, it is a step forward in the company’s future space exploration.
It is good to have a positive view of future endeavours, even when you have just witnessed what was probably a crash landing.

Japanese Company to Put a Probe on the Moon
A Japanese company has successfully put a probe into orbit around the Moon. It now aims to land the probe. If the landing attempt is successful, it will be the first time a private organisation lands anything on the Moon. Previously, only Russia (the Soviet Union), the USA, and China have managed to do this. I am confident that a Japanese company will be able to do it. There are many great scientists and engineers in Japan.

Cat Food
Paula went to buy more cat food today. Our cat friends Malin and Totte need cat food. Paula brought home a cheaper brand of cat food than usually purchased, however. She said summer is coming and the cats are supposed to be outdoors catching mice to eat. Then they do not need cat food that is as expensive as the food usually purchased for them. I agree. It is more important that the money goes to dog food.

Some Cleaning
We spent part of this Sunday cleaning the house. It is nice when the house is cleaner.
I do not like to clean, as such. As far as I know, nobody does. It is, however, necessary to clean in order to have a clean place. You have to put in some effort to get a better life.

Trailer
If you have senior car, you may not know it can pull a trailer. The hook for a trailer is usually hidden under the car, but can be put into place to pull a trailer with the push on a button.
Paula and Daniel rented a trailer today and drove away a lot of waste from the garden. You may remember that I wrote that a lot of trees and bushes were cut a few weekends ago. This waste has been left on the lawn, but is now gone.
I like the open space created by the cutting and removal of all of this. The garden looks much better now.

Sun
We have had great weather. The sun is shining. Now all we need is the warmth that comes with the sun in the summer.

Killing Wild Cats
Our cat friends Malin and Totte were upset to read about an event killing wild cats in New Zealand. It made me quite upset as well, though I understand that Malin and Totte feel closer to the New Zealand cats than I do.
Apparently, there are many wild cats in New Zealand, and they hunt endangered animals to a considerable degree. Malin said that if you are concerned about the great hunting skills of cats, you could just catch them and feed them cat food instead, there is no reason to kill them. Totte agreed.
New Zealand is on the other side of the world, but this tip from Malin may work anywhere. This is why I write about it in this blog. Perhaps some readers may consider the idea.

Macaroni
Paula and Daniel had macaroni for dinner tonight. There were quite a lot of macaroni left when they were done. I am happy to say I got the mission to take care of these macaroni. It took a little effort, but I was soon done. I am good at tankning care of macaroni.

Citizens’ Arrest
When Japan’s Prime Minister Fumio Kishida was attacked at an election rally, fishermen from the town cooperated and took hold of the attacker. They held on to him until police could take over. This man is now held by the police as a suspect.
It is a good thing these citizens took control of the situation. Otherwise, the suspect may have been able to flee. It makes me proud of the country where I, as a Shiba, have my roots.

Aggression
This has been a terrible day, because Paula has been in a very bad mood throughout the day. No matter what anybody has said or done, she has exploded with aggression. We do not know why this is, Paula is usually a very nice and gentle human. She has not been able to explain it either, she got mad when we asked her. We have to hope for a better tomorrow.

Rainy Morning
Rain fell in the morning, when it was time for the morning walk. We did get utom the walk, of course, but we cut it short.
Rain is nice when you are indoors. If you have to go out in the rain, it is not that nice. I am glad both Peanut, Daniel, and Totte wanted the same as me, to take a short morning walk today.

Ordinary Food
Paula cooked hamburgers to herself and Daniel. Meanwhile, Daniel served ordinary dog food to us dogs. I like our dog food, but it is a contrast to the minced meat and meatballs of yesterday. Life is good, nevertheless.

Meatballs
Paula cooked meatballs for dinner today. This was great. First, we got to taste some minced meat. Then, we got to taste meatballs. Finally, we got to taste some cheese.
This was a great dinner. Thus, it was a great evening. It would be nice to have dinners like this more often. I am not sure I would appreciate it so much if we got things like this every day, but I can always wish to get it more often. We have a great life, but there is always room for improvement.

No Final Game
The Örebro ice hockey team lost its game tonight, and its opponent won the semi final series.
This matters a lot for Paula, who is a fan of Örebro. Daniel does not care as much, he is a fan of Djurgården since his childhood. He comes from the Stockholm area and his father was also from Stockholm and a fan of Djurgården.
Semi final is not a bad result. Djurgården was far from it, now competing to get up in the highest series. We can hope for success there.

Cleaning
It is Sunday and Easter Day. You would think Paula and Daniel would celebrate a lot, but they spent a lot of the day cleaning the house.
While they were at it, it was no fun. I felt like I was in the way. It does feel better with a house that is cleaner, though. At night, it feels like it was a good call to clean a lot.

Easter Eve
We celebrated Easter today, on Easter Eve. It was a good day, we mostly just took it easy. Life is good when everyone is at home and you can all just have a nice and call time together.
I wish all of my readers a Happy Easter!

Visitors for Coffee
Paula’s parents stopped by our house today. They were out for a walk and popped in for a chat in the middle of the day. Then they came back in the late afternoon, and Paula and Daniel served coffee. It was nice to see them. A good thing about days when everyone is free from work is that you can get visitors like this. I like it.

Holy Week
While Daniel has worked most of the day, Paula has been off work. We have celebrated Holy Week with her, mostly in tranquility. It has been a good day, when we have rested a lot and thought about Easter and everything around it. Easter is good. I am looking forward to some Easter candy.

China Tries to Rename Places in India
China claims territory of many neighbours, not just Japan. For example, China claims parts of northern India. In line with these claims, China has attempted to rename places there. India rejects the attempts, of course.
China should stay within its borders.

Easter Is Coming
By the end of this week, Easter is here. Easter is a great holiday, because it is a holiday when we celebrate how our humans got relieved from sin through the sacrifice of Christ. It is also a holiday with a lot of good food and candy.
Dogs have never needed to be relieved of sin. For this, I am naturally grateful.

Staying at Home
No, I will not move away from home, especially not to live on my own, as I wrote yesterday. It was just an April’s fool’s joke.
I feel very well living where I live. I cannot imagine that I could have a better home anywhere else. Life is really good here.

Planning To Move
I have plans to move away from home. Ever since I was born, I have lived in the same place, since I was bred here and stayed at home. Most dogs move to new families as pups. Now it is my turn to move. Since I am an adult, I do not need a family to move to, however. I can take care of myself. My new home will be a better place, a place I can call my own. There, I can do whatever I want. Life will be good.
